These are the kids. We are at an apartment directly on the beach in Panama City Beach, Florida this past Easter. Sometimes you have to eat out, you are on vacation, etc. Tonight we made the choice to eat dinner out, on a Tuesday. Jake made the honor roll!!! His hard work and dedication earned him a crab dinner out at the restaurant of his choice.
His reward=His choice
He chose Red Lobster.
What were we going to do? Jake knows good food from bad, healthy from unhealthy, but this was his selection, so away we went. Blech. We will have two more go around with this scenario before the end of the school year, we asked him if “please oh please” just not Red Lobster.
As you can see Jake, and Ella (two years old in this pic) and the rest of us KNOW OUR CRABS! (this vendor is in the Singapore Botanical Garden). I did American style snow crab for last New Year’s Eve celebration. This year, I will find one of these delicious monsters and do Singapore Chili Crab. Everyone, occasionally, needs to eat out at a chain restaurant to remind their taste buds what bad food is. Then go home and make something authentic and delicious to acquaint your taste buds with great food. Lah!
